Who we are
a2 is Alan Bridger and Alona Simister, two graduates of the Oxford Brookes MA in Publishing.
Alona is an editor, productionista, writer, cook and design-dabbler.
Alan is a designer, editor, productionisto, photographer and digitalist.
Alona Simister
- Freelance editorial and design work for clients including Raymond Blanc Cookery School at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, Macmillan Publishing and The Independent newspaper
- Experience in all aspects of publishing, from manuscript creation right up to book retail
- MA in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University, graduated with Distinction
- BA(Hons) in English from Exeter University, graduated with First Class
Alan Bridger
- eMarketing Assistant at I.B.Tauris Publishers
- Freelance design work, including logos and promotional materials, and layout of student newspaper
- Experience in all aspects of publishing, with emphasis on design and layout, and marketing
- MA in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University, graduated with Distinction
- BA(Hons) in Philosophy from Durham University, 2:1
